My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is an 11 month old Maltese mix who is new to the rescue. He loves to be around people!! He loves to play!! His forever home requires a fenced yard where Charlie can safely run and play. He appears to get along with other dogs. Unfortunately we do not know how Charlie is with cats. Charlie does not like children. He is up to date on his vaccinations, on heartworm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Charlie is looking for a forever family who will provide him with lots of love and make him feel a part of a family.

All the dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. Adoption applications are only available at our adoption events. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and cat(s). You must live within 1 hr of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. We do require all our dogs under the age of 1 year must attend 2 obedience classes (6 week session) outside the home. Come meet all the dogs of the Make A Difference Rescue at the Troy Petco on Coolidge near 15 Mile Rd every Sunday 12-4:30pm. Our adoption fee is $275.
