My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HARRY is a 1 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 62 pounds. Harry is a very sweet and friendly boy. He gets along well with other dogs. From transporter: Harry is a good boy and rode well on transport. Harry was picked up as a stray to the shelter with 2 other dogs, but no one came looking for him. He is approved for kids 10+.

Update (8/2): Harry is such a very sweet boy! He has been mistreated in the past so you need to go slow with him but in return he has so much love to give. He is just a big, gentle dog and especially calm. He walks well on a leash, rides well in the car, does well in a crate, rarely jumps up, does well with other dogs, he is just an amazing boy. But he is also a very timid, he does not use steps and prefers to be outside rather than in the house. His foster family is working with him on steps but it is a slow process. He is fine in the crate but he really does not do anything wrong and is fine left out.
He does enjoy receiving love. But doesn't necessarily seek it out quite yet. It seems like he isn't really used to getting affection. He would likely do best in a house with another dog (and not necessarily a dog as young as he), because he does take cues from the resident lab to see what to do and to assure him that he's safe and things are fine.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
