Floyd's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Floyd is a bouncing baby boy about 5 months old. He is sweet, affectionate and playful. Floyd likes other cats and people. He will be brought up to date on vaccinations and then need to be neutered by his adoptive family. Right now, because we are over-run with kittens we are having an adoption special of $70.00 instead of $90.00 with a $20.00 refund upon proof of Veterinarian certificate of neuter receipt. Our standard cat adoption fee which includes basic vaccinations and parasite treatments as well as feline leukemia testing is $90 with a $20 refund upon proof of Veterinarian certificate of neuter receipt (all companion animals must be spayed or neutered per Lucky Dog adoption contract agreement) or $125 if they are spayed/ neutered before adoption.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Floyd, a Detroit Lakes Norwegian Forest Cat kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Forest Cat for sale in Detroit Lakes, or seeking a Norwegian Forest Cat kitten from a breeder in Detroit Lakes.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit Lakes already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit Lakes breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Forest Cat breeders who help with Norwegian Forest Cat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit Lakes paves the way for another one to be saved.
