My story

My name is Davina and it means "Little deer" and that's just what I am. When my foster mom saw me and my sister in a West Tennessee shelter she couldn't believe how small we were, only 3 pounds each! I didn't feel very well for a few weeks but the nice people at the rescue made sure I got the medicine and TLC I needed and in no time at all I was a happy playful girl. They think I am a Feist/Chihuahua mix but that is best guess. I am now about 13-14 weeks old and I weigh 13 pounds. In my foster home I have my sister to play with and I really like the resident big dogs but my favorite part about my foster home is that I have a little human boy to play with. I have a lot of energy and I love to play and explore my surroundings. I would love to have a family who takes me for lots of walks or has a big yard for me to run in. I also love to play with toys and tug is one of my favorite games! I always go potty when my foster family takes me outside but mom says that sometimes I have accidents because I am just so small, she knows with love and encouragement I will be a housetrained champ in no time. My foster mom won’t tell my sister and I who have the best kisses officially, but I'm pretty sure it’s me and she just doesn't want to hurt my sisters feelings.
