My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoe is a very smart, friendly, 6 month old blue brindle pit bull. Her birthday is January 14, 2015. Purchased from a breeder, her family couldn’t keep her and gave her to rescue. Although she lived with a smaller dog, she does much better with larger dogs which she LOVES. Every big dog she meets she tries to play with. She is currently being fostered with two large dogs (who she adores) and three small dogs, and she has pestered the little ones so much they no longer tolerate her. She is already an alpha girl, so a home without another female is a must. She is incredibly gentle when giving her food from your hand or peanut butter from your finger. She is now crate trained and almost fully potty trained (accidents happen when her foster mama isn’t paying attention). She has started clicker training and is working on sit, come, go get it (fetch), room, box and leave it/drop it (though like most puppies, gets easily distracted). We will require proof of registration to a puppy training class prior to her adoption - We want the best for her and an owner who is in sync with how to best communicate with her. Zoe is a VERY active girl, she is a high energy lady! She loves her daily runs/walks and has a hard time getting her pent up energy out if they are missed. Because of her high energy, no kids under 10. Her ideal home would be where someone will run with her daily, a big yard where she can play supervised with a large, male dog, and someone to share an active lifestyle with. She is a dominant girl so someone with experience with dogs is a plus. Lastly, you must own your home...no renters. Adoption fee is $395.
