Tangier's Story...
Tangier is a gorgeous brown tabby girl kitty with an exotic looking face. She is around one year old. Tangier is a bit shy when she first meets you but she really loves people. Tangier also loves other cats & kittens. She may do well with friendly dogs but she is not currently in a foster place where there are dogs. Tangier was living on the mean streets (and was not getting enough to eat) when a nice young woman rescued her. Since then Tangier has been one happy cat. Tangier has one big wish: She wants to be on the front cover of Cat Fancy magazine.

Want to meet this pretty girl? Just send an email inquiry to njcattitude@gmail.com - one of our friendly volunteers will respond. Or you can meet Tangier at one of our Saturday adoption events in the Piscataway PetCo from 11: a.m. to 4: p.m.

Tangier is spayed - negative for fiv/felv - up to date on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tangier, a Highland Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Highland Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Highland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Highland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Highland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Highland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
