My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Captain! This little guy, has a happy, wiggly butt that just won't quit! If his scars weren't so obvious you would never guess what this little guy has been through seeing his lovable personality. Captain came in with a burn running down the length of his spine. Whether there by accident or abuse, this guy never let it get him down! Captain went into foster care where he has healed rapidly. Although the scar is still visible, this guy doesn't look back on his rough past! He absolutely loves to play with other dogs, throw around toys, and lounge with his foster mom (when they are not playing fetch, that is!). Captain picked up on his house manners very quickly and is already house-, kennel-, and leash trained. He even knows sit!

At around 6 months old, this guy weighs in at about 20lbs and could definitely stand to gain some weight. He doesn't appear to be a very large breed, but will most likely grow to a lanky medium size. Captain would be ideal for a family with a fenced in yard and other dogs or kids big enough to rough house with so he can get out all his puppy energy. With lots of training and love, Captain will be the ultimate addition to your family! Won't you be the one to take him, scars and all?

All Dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.

Captain is currently in foster care so, if interested, please email us today!
