Lilly at Petco's Story...

This beautiful little kitty is as sweet and gentle as she is pretty. She loves to sleep with you but will quietly cuddle next to you. She is so eager to please and so well behaved. She is a very precious sweetheart of a kitty. She was on the euthanasia list at a remote facility and had a wonderful and loving foster mom to help her become the great pet she is. Can you save this kitty? * Our kitties are: Spayed/neutered, combo tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids, up-to-date on vaccines, treated for parasites, and most have microchips. Our adoption fees are low. Most are $125. Our kitties over three years old are generally $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly at Petco, a Germantown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
