Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Squeakers and Taz are 3 year old bonded brothers, fully vetted, and very sweet and friendly. Although the pictures make them look over weight they are not, they are the right size for a Maine Coon.
This is their story :
Father and his 6 year old daughter are picking up the pieces from child abuse. The new landlord demanded the cats could not stay. Daughter was physically abused, as well as the cats, by the mother. This poor girl lost her mother and now her two beloved pets. The cats need a new home with lots of love and stability.
Squeakers is a non-dominant male who seems to be good with other friendly animals. He will allow you to hold him, but not too long. He likes to find a place to lay down vs exploring. Taz is the out going brother. He loves to explore. He is more hesitant of other animals and will show this by growling. This may also be his way of telling them he is the big guy in charge. His growl shows his protest with things like when he is picked up when he wants to explore and when it is time to go back in his kennel. Both cats allow themselves to be brushed. Both boys love to be pet and scratched. They do not seem to respond to their names, but starting to respond to "come here" to get pet. They are amazing gentle creatures, healthy and ready to go to their new forever home. Please come meet them and see just how wonderful they are! Petco Tustin adoption event every Sunday from 1 to 4 or by appointment.
