This cute girl’s name is Shannon. She is cute as a button and as friendly as can be. Best guess is that she is maybe a year of so old and around 45 pounds. We believe that she was dumped because she just appeared in a neighborhood and didn’t seem to know what to do or where to go. Her finder was not able to locate an owner because she didn’t have any ID so Shannon is now with us. She is very sweet and friendly with people and she is good with a male dog that she likes to hang out with so I would say that she would be good with a young, playful male dog her size. We are not sure about other females or smaller dogs. After observing her for a few days, we found that she seems to be deaf. Because of that, she would do well with another dog because she doesn’t hear if you call her, but she will follow another dog. She will come if she sees you near the door as well. She is crate trained. When she comes in the house, she does know where she is supposed to go. She is so sweet and playful and deserves a nice home with someone to care for her. About our adoption process: For more information or to request an adoption application (required), please email the dog's foster listed above (no phone calls, please). There is no commitment by submitting the application - it just helps us determine if the pet you are interested in will be a good match for you. Next is a meet and greet which will be arranged with the pet's foster. If there are other dogs in your household, we suggest bringing them to ensure everyone gets along. The standard adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $140 (cash or check) which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip and collar/tags.
