My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, there! My name is Mason. I was captured as a “feral” kitten, but as you can see that wasn’t to be my fate. I may be a little bit cautious, but I’m a snuggle bug when I want to be. And of course, I’m extremely handsome.

At first, I’m a bit shy when I am introduced to a new environment. What kitten wouldn’t be, right? I’m not a huge fan of lots and lots of visitors; but I follow the if they don’t bother me, I won’t bother them rule!
I can generally be found hanging out in my favorite napping spot, or, more than likely playing either by myself if no one else is available or with other cats. When I’m ready for some loving, I come over to my foster mom and let her know. She’s very good at knowing when I want to be petted and loved and when I don’t. Since I’m still getting used to having so many humans around, I’m a bit perplexed when they talk to me. Sometimes they tell me no, which I think means stop but I’m not sure. I’m a fast learner though, I’ll pick it up quickly.

I’d do well in a house with other cats, maybe a dog and older children.
