Babou's Story...
My name is Babou. I bet you have never heard that name before. My foster mom named me that because I am special (in a good way). She is always telling me how beautiful my BLUE EYES are. I know right?? Blue eyes, I wish I could see them. Anyway I am having a great time in my foster home playing with my foster siblings and yes my sister Babette (her name is not as cool as mine). I am learning to pee on this thing they call a pee pad, its really easy but of course I have accidents. I am being fostered in Hazel Green Alabama. I would love it if you looked me up and came to visit me. I promise I will make a awesome addition to your family. I love to play and I also love this big chair my foster moms sits in. She put me up there one time and now I am hooked. So do you have a chair like hers? Anyway, email info@forrescue.net , I'm waiting!!! I hear I am going to go fast so don't procrastinate!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Babou, a Marietta Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
