Eve's Story...
Eve and Ivie are two hairless Chinese Crested girls we were able to rescue from a breeding situation. They were both pretty timid when they arrived but in a matter of days, both became quite social. Each has a particular, endearing quality that I will tell you about. This bio is about Eve. When you are sitting on the couch in the evening, Eve likes to stand in front of you and stare adoringly. Sometimes she will stand on her back feet with her front feet on your lap. She is a dark colored hairless crestie gal. Her crest is black with a cream colored beard. I don't shave my cresties so I didn't shave her but rather just cleaned her up with a pair of scissors. Her skin could use some attention. Lots of blackheads but very, very few cysts. Here is the bad news: She can scale a four foot chainlink fence like it's a ladder so no going outside off leash. We think that she is about 4 years old and she weighs 12 pounds. I will work on getting better pictures. Eve is spayed , up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative, is microchipped and has had a dental cleaning. Her adoption fee is $250 with all vet work done.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eve, a House Springs Chinese Crested dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinese Crested for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chinese Crested dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinese Crested breeders who help with Chinese Crested rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
