If you’re looking for a best friend, then look no further!  You’ve found me!  Well, almost.  Just fill out the application and we’ll be able to meet and I know it will be friends at first sight!!  I’m such a friendly all black boy - I’ll even flop down on the sidewalk in front of strangers if I think they might be good for a pet or two or maybe even a belly rub!  I’m really looking for a home where I can have some safe outdoor time because my current home changed their rules and all cats have to be indoors only and that’s just not me.  I do like being inside where I can also get lots of attention, play time, and be a lover and lap kitty but I do like the outdoors a little too much to be strictly inside.  I love kids of all ages but don’t currently live with any and I actually am good with most dogs but I really don’t like other cats!  I am litter trained but might need my shots updated so please talk to my owner and see if we can’t work something out to our mutual benefit.  Lookin’ forward to meeting you!! I am 6 years old.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.

About Second Chance Companions

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 1993, Second Chance Companions is a 501(c) 3 non-profit pet organization dedicated to helping animals in SW Washington and the Portland Metro area.

We are a humane, no-kill organization staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers.

Although we do not run an independent shelter, we feed, care for, adopt out, and spay & neuter as many animals as possible. In addition, we educate the community and are always seeking volunteers and resources that help us to accomplish our mission.

We have a small number of foster homes available, but also work with private owners who keep their pets while looking for homes for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have cats available for adoption all the time at the Vancouver Plaza and Gresham Petsmarts.

We also have adoption events most every weekend and often during the week too. See all of our currently scheduled events at:
