My story

Species: Medium Sulfur Crested Cockatoo.
Temperament: Sweet.
Known Behavior Issues: Has plucked chest but is not currently plucking.
Status: Available.
Special Needs: None.
Diet: Zupreem pellets, fruits & veggies, nuts or seeds as treats.

Snookums has a very interesting background. His previous owner was living in Indonesia when he found some locals getting ready to kill a newly hatched chick. (Cockatoos are sometimes considered agricultural pests in their native lands.) He rescued Snookums and was able to bring him to the US in the 1980s. Sadly, parrots are long lived and people get older, so he was no longer able to care for Snookie.

Snookums loves to be the center of attention. He's friendly and has a ton of personality. He likes to call himself "Snookie bird" and say "nighty nighty".
