http://www.valleydogs.org/kota.html -- Hi my name is Kota. I’m a boxer, hound, pit mix. My foster mom found me all alone on a corner in downtown Phoenix one night. No one came to claim me so she’s going to find me a great forever home.

I’m only about 5 months old so I still have some growing and learning to do. I already know sit, and I walk pretty good on a leash, well, most of the time. My mom got me a crate with a nice soft doggy bed and I love to sleep there. Best of all, I never go potty in the house!

The hound in me loves to sniff out new smells. I can tell which hand my mom hides treats in; most of the time, but I’m getting better! I like to learn new things and I try really hard. I love people and I love dogs. I really want a furry brother or sister to play with. If you want a great dog that will be your best friend then I’m your guy! Maybe I could even grow up to be a search and rescue dog? I can bounce from spot to spot like a Tigger (jungle book reference). Boy do I love to play and learn.
