My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Button and I am a 3-yr old female Shorty Jack, a stockier Jack Russell Terrier. They call me a Shorty because I am about the same height as a dachshund. I am spayed, current on my vaccinations, and heartworm negative. I am ready to join your home! Like all Jack Russells I can be high energy, especially when my owner first comes home after being away. I wiggle and jump with excitement and usually take a victory lap around the house. But I'm not always high energy. I also make a great snuggler once I get to know you. Want to know more about me? I am accustomed to sitting on the couch and I sometimes like to sleep in bed with my family. My other favorite place to sleep is in the laundry basket!
I will do anything for a treat! I know "Sit" and "Come" but would be happy to learn more commands if you have treats!
I know how to be crated but I am not destructive so you can feel comfortable leaving me out in the house while you are gone.
I like other dogs, big and small, and I don't mind cats either.
I LOVE to go to the dog park and romp around. I also like to ride in the car!
