Jax is 3 years old and weighs sbout 60 lbs. He is a very handsome boy. He is an American Staffie Pit Bull Terrier possibly mixed with Lab or American Bull Dog. He loves to play ball and also play 'find it' when you hide it. He knows sit, down, shake with both paws and does high fives. He is house broken. He loves kids and adults. He is dog friendly as well. He loves human attention. He just wants to be with you and lay by your feet and cuddle too. He is very smart and a quick learner. He responds very well to corrections. Jax is an owner surrender due to the son, that saved him as a puppy from a breeder, moved out of his parents home and left Jax behind. The parents could not take care of Jax. He was banished to the backyard after being an inside dog and sleeping in bed every night. Jax is looking for a forever family to call his own. There are videos of Jax if you are interested. About It's The Pits

About Our Rescue Group...

We are located in the San Diego area and pull dogs from southern California shelters and we assist families in rehoming their pets so that they don't have to go to a shelter.

I started doing rescue because I couldn't stand to see adoptable dogs being euthanized due to lack of an immediate home. I knew that I could find them good homes.

Our Adoption Process...

Potential families are asked to complete or Adoption Application before visiting our dogs. We introduce you and your family including any other dogs/cats in your family to our adoptable dogs. If the meeting is a good match we will schedule a home check to ensure that the home is a good match for the pet that you have selected. You will then be asked to complete our Adoption Agreement and to finalize the adoption there will be a processing fee to adopt a pet from us. All proceeds go directly back to help support our rescue and there are no paid employees so all fees are used for our pets waiting to be adopted.
