Heather's Story...
I am a 3 year old very petite beagle weighing in at only 17 pounds. I have lots of energy and enjoy playing tug of war. I would enjoy another dog to play with and a home with children 8 plus. Being a beagle I have to have a fenced in yard. If you have never owned a beagle please research the breed as awesome as I am beagle aren't for everyone. If you have been searching for the perfect size dog, not to big and not to small your search will be over with a single visit with me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heather, a Springfield Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
