Roosevelt's Story...
Hi! I'm Roosevelt, and I'm a handsome young Chihuahua mix boy, born in January, 2014!

I'm a friendly and playful guy who enjoys going for walks. I like to snuggle, too! I get along with people of all ages, small dogs, and even cats. I have not met any big dogs yet, but if you have one I would love to meet him or her. I am not a fan of being crated and would love to share your bed with you. I promise I won't take up much room!

Note: Basic obedience training is recommended anytime you bring a new forever furry companion into your home. MaxFund can help you with training resources.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roosevelt, a Denver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
