Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Emma Roo, but everyone here just calls me Roo. I am wonderfully sweet and just love, nah, demand attention. I love to snuggle up in bed with you especially on rainy days or when the weather just sucks and you'd rather stay in bed all day - I'm totally down for that. I'm also fond of following you all over the house. I also give hugs!
There are a few things to know about me. First, I want your undivided attention. I only have eyes for you, and would appreciate it, if you felt the same way. Other animals are really scary to me and stress me out. Second, I have a sensitive stomach in a new environment. That means I may get a sick tummy a bit more than the average cat the first month or so, but once we get settled in together, I'll be fine. Third, I'm a 2 time cancer survivor. I have had a little lump removed on my arm twice now. It's not aggressive and hasn't spread - I actually made it over a year before it came back, which is really good. But chances are, it's going to come back again at some point. I know, I know, so much baggage with me. I wanted to be up front with you because I've been in a home, loved, and then brought back so many times that I want you to know all this up front so there's no surprises.
I am a favorite here at New Beginnings and once you come meet me, you'll see why!
If you are interested in meeting me, please come visit me at the NBAR Adoption Center located at 2502 Rochester Rd., Royal Oak MI. They are open from 4-7P Wed-Fri and 12-4P Sat-Sun.
