Fuller's Story...

Fuller is a social boy that loves life. He may need some guidance being so young but he'll be well worth the effort. If you're looking for an all around nice dog stop by and take a look at Fuller.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Dachshund/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
