My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casey is our 3-4 month old border collie / golden retriever mix puppy. Casey's mom is a purebred golden retriever. Casey is a beautiful shiny black with golden red points. She is just a sweetheart. Casey was rescued from a high kill shelter in Tennessee.
She is in a foster home with other dogs and gets along with everyone. She is so playful. Casey is working on her potty skills and is ready for a HOME.

If you are interested in giving Casey a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Or the application can be downloaded from our website www.merceranimalrescue.org

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly at 901-651-6322 or Angela at 203-909-8861 with questions.

Casey's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.

Casey is fostered in Tennessee. She will travel to her new home once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
