Tony's Story...
Cat from the first database

LAP CAT!!! Tony was rescued from the Oak Cliff Shelter. His owner released him to the shelter. He had a urinary tract infection which would have made him an unlikely candidate to be adopted, even though he was already neutered and vaccinated. He was taken to the vet immediately for treatment and has been doing great since then. Tony is a very sweet male, about 1 1/2 years old. He likes to get in his foster's lap when she works on the computer. He loves the attention he gets when he is in her lap. He is still quite playful, playing with imaginary things at times. He wants to get along with other cats. As long as they are not aggressive, he likes their company. He is rather picky with his food. He prefers Fancy Feast fish & shrimp feast and Friskies dry food.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tony, a Frisco Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Frisco, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Frisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
