Jasmine's Story...
Hi everyone! My name is Jasmine. I am about a year and a half old Border Collie mix. I’d like to tell you a sad story with hopefully a happy ending! Here it goes:
One night I was wandering around the back roads. I was so hungry and so tired! See, I hadn’t eaten good food in a while and I had hundreds of ticks all over my body. They were everywhere! I wanted to lie down for a while, but there was a flickering light ahead of me that caught my eye. I haven’t ever seen anything like it, so I decided to check it out. It was a bonfire with a lady and a man standing by it. They came over to me and said “Well hello there! Who are you?”. They see a lot of roaming country dogs, but they’ve never seen me before. The man reached down to pet me and felt all the ticks on me. The lady rushed to get me some Frontline while the man started getting some of them off of my face. They let me into their house and even gave me food and water! They were surprised that I was pretty much house trained and I knew how to sit and shake. They just couldn’t understand why I was wandering with nobody to take care of me! Well, now they say they’re my foster mommy and daddy but that I need to find a forever home. They have 3 other dogs, and we get along pretty well! We don’t ever fight over food or toys. They also have a cat, and he doesn’t bother me any. Oh, and I love kissing their baby! He thinks it’s funny! Well, that’s my story up til now. I was just wondering if you will be my happily-ever-after ending?

Jasmine, a Hendersonville Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Hendersonville, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Hendersonville.

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hendersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hendersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
