Maximo's Story...
Maximo is a very sweet boy that somehow turned up in the local kill shelter. He is sweet and friendly though a little shy for just a minute. He seems fine with other dogs but would be great as an only dog also. He appears to be house trained and walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. Max is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and tested HW negative. Max was quite matted when we rescued him and the groomer had to shave him. We have a before picture available and he looks like a schnauzer poodle mix. The hair on his back was more curly. Max is about 2 1/2 years old and weighs 22 lbs. If you would like to give this sweet dog his forever happy home, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send you an application right out. Thank you for your interest!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maximo, a Washington Schnauzer (Miniature)/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Washington, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
