My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Primrose is a little cattle dog mix that was picked up from a ditch in a bad part of town. Her sibling had been hit by a car and was dead in the road. Primrose was so scared. She is just the most precious pup. She is approx 14 weeks old as of July 25, 2015 and weighs 10 lbs. She will be in the 25-30lb. range. She is just as happy as can be now and loves to run and play with her puppy buddies. She is very smart and learns very quickly. She is not fully house trained but is learning to run outside with everyone else. She will need some leash/harness training and would love a home with a buddy to keep her company.

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
