Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Apollo. 2-4 yo Shaded Golden Persian.
We're so excited to have Apollo in Rescue. Goldens are rare and
delightuful. A year ago we'd never seen a Golden Persian. In the past 6
months we've had six of them. We're sorry he got dumped, but thrilled
that he came our way when that happened.
Apollo is a sweet gentle boy with a beautiful doll face. He appears to
have been well cared for in his previous life, so we wonder if someone
passed away and then he got dumped? Or maybe someone lost their home due
to the economy. We hope it was a reason like that and not that someone
just got tired of this marvelous cat and threw him away.
Apollo has beautiful conformation to breed standards. He is obviously
bred for the healthy "doll faced" look so popular today. His eyes are
the lovely green required for a Golden. It's hard to tell if he's a
Chinchilla or a Shaded Golden since we've not seen a lot of them. Look
at his beautiful tail, short but full and plumed as it should be. He's
got a nice "cobby" style to his body, when he's got his full weight back
he'll look like a little round beach ball coming toward you.
Enough of that depressing stuff, let's find Apollo a home! He's sweet,
he's beautiful , he's healthy, his coat looks good, he's well
socialized. He's going into foster care almost immediately and his
foster mom will know more about his inner soul and personal preferences.
Get him quick, he's not likely to be in rescue long.
