found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am housetrained, a special needs pet, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Wilbur came to the Hazel Park shelter as a stray. When he came in, he had several scars on his face, but they have since healed up and he now just has a few remnants of where the scars were.
He completed heartworm treatment a few months ago, and is now looking for a great home to call his own.
He does not like cats, and has a high prey drive for them, but has been fine with other dogs. He would be best in a home with older children, as he is a very strong dog and could easily knock over a toddler.
If you would like to set up a meet and greet, please complete our online adoption evaluation form and ask for pet by name! You'll be glad you did!
The adoption fee of $150 includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip!
Please consider volunteering or fostering so we can help save more pets!
