update:
Magnum is now coming out of his shell and doing great
a big turn around after 3 weeks
so ready for the right family
you MUST have another dog that is puppy friendly and outgoing
prefer a nurturing older fem dog
he LOVES to be attached to fosters 6 yr old fem dog
goes where ever she goes and feel save and comfy around her
He currently is in foster with a single woman so has not had exposure to man
he won't be aggressive to anyone ever but will be withdrawn until bonded
Ready for adoption in a few weeks once he is healthy
had infection and on antibiotics
we thought it was from a foxtail but Vet thought it came from a blow
now that we know him we think Vet is right
He looks like a pup that was not treated well by his owner and most likely was kicked
he had a baseball size swollen area on his right butt has been on antibiotics 3 weeks
another round to go with all the work on draining it etc and meeds it is finally golfball size
he's a very withdrawn pup who mainly perks up with other dogs specially female black labs that are nurturing as he was fostered with one who was adopted
He is ready for THE home otherwise he stays until that special family find him
while we continue to work with him
He LOVES cooked chicken
He feels safe with a good natured female dog
he's fine with all dogs has zero aggression if human or animal
he's very submissive and his siblings can walk all over him
he never fights back for anything
we don't just want him to be loved or felt sorry for in his new home but help him gain the confidence he's lacking
he does love to be held and petted but won't come up
for it yet eventually he will
He won't make eye contact rarely if he knows you
but he's young enough to turn most of that around
in the right home that has tons of patience love and knowledge about dog behavior
and/or willing to do research and learn
He's not the pup that can go to just any home but THE home
so if you think you are ready for this super loyal big hearted
little man such a handsome boy

Magnum is about 4 months old weighs 26 pounds most likely will be around 60 pounds once full grown
he has a beautiful plush heavy coat that's looking really good now after being cared for by us for a month
He's a very normal puppy when he's with other dogs and playing/running
loves the babypool
but not so yet when around humans
he rather just be with dogs
he's young enough to be turned around for the most part
as I myself took in such a pup that was 5 months old
now 7 years and one of the best and totally submissive
non aggressive dogs there is
We are looking for someone home during the day and another friendly dog he can hang out with
We will not adopt him as only dog he would be very unhappy
Adult home that has experience love time and patience to spend lots of time with him
as he's very shy with people zero aggression just withdrawn when with people
he's learning but it will take time
he has not had the best start in his life and will need an extra loving folks
since in foster has blossomed a lot but long ways to go yet with lots of one on one
looking for someone with time to continue as well as socializing him in public little by little
Magnum has a beautiful coat that will look even better over time with excellent care which he is getting since with us it looks great already
We are looking for a fully fenced yard secure for pups and must be indoors and become a family member
We are looking for someone home most of the day or has other means where a pup won't be left all alone for hours on
Magnum loves being petted and in your lap once he knows you and feels secure
He loves the babypool and running around with other dogs and siblings
We are looking for breed experienced folks
over the age of 30 years
stable home owners preferred
someone MUST be home during the day or have other arrangements as a pup that age should not be left alone for long
specially by themselves without another super friendly dog there
Magnum had a 3 day deworming, a bath, flea and tick meds, first shot will have second shot this week, on quality glutenfree puppy food, fishoil for coat, was on calcium for a few weeks, multivitamin, Vit C, Probiotics
