Zeva's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Zeva's Story...
Introducing Zeva! She is estimated to be around a year old, and currently weighs 26 lbs. She appears to be purebred, and will likely have a healthy weight of around 30 - 35 lbs. Zeva has a strong toy drive, and is a fast learner. She has easily mastered the "Sit", "Down", "Leave It" and "Off" commands. Needless to say she's a smart girl! Zeva is also house trained and crate trained, and will easily settle for the comfort of her crate.

Zeva is currently fostered in a home with multiple foster [canine] siblings, and although she does o.k. with them, she really prefers to have only one canine companion either male or female, or to be an only dog. Zeva is a people-devoted dog, and loves to be with you everywhere you go. She enjoys playing and learning, but will easily settle for cuddling sessions on the couch, bed, floor, grass... well, you get the point. She's a cuddler, and loves to be loved!

Although Zeva can be a bit shy at first, she has easily warmed up to any new situation as long as she has her human's support and love. Continued socialization will help build her confidence. Zeva does fine with cats, and has not yet been tested with children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeva, a Allen Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Allen, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Allen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allen paves the way for another one to be saved.
