Sammi's Story...
Meet this pretty lady named Sammi, who is a female Golden Retriever estimated age 8 yrs in age. Sammi is super laid back girl. She is a little bashful at first but warms up nicely. She has excellent manners in the house. Sammi is house and crate trained. She likes sleeping in her crate at night and will go get in it when she is ready for bedtime. She also likes to lay on a doggie bed to be with her people when they are watching TV. She likes being leash walked but needs a harness because she tends to pull a tiny bit and the harness is perfect for her. She gets along with dogs. She doesn't play much with other dogs or toys. She just likes to chill with you. If you are looking for a quite, easy going, super sweet laid back companion then Sammi may just be the girl for you! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammi, a Richmond Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
