Barry's Story...
How handsome is this fella!! Goofy Barry is a fetching eight month old Shepherd-Hound mix who would love to join your family. This sweet guy is still full of playful puppy energy, and will surly keep a smile on your face for years to come. Barry was sadly found as a stray, and no owners could be located, so he is now ready for adoption. He adores playing with toys, loves exploring in the yard, and enjoys swimming in the kiddie pool! He would love to join you on your daily walks or jogs around the neighborhood, and would be a fantastic camping or hiking buddy. Barry has been great with all the other dogs in the adoption facility, and has adored the kids who have visited (he might however knock over young toddlers with his spunky nature). He loves treats, and is very eager to please, so teaching him tricks/commands should be fun and easy. Barry is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and microchipped! Stop by to visit with this charming boy today! We are open from 12-6 daily!
**Until the end of July, all dog that weigh over 30 pounds have a $15.00 adoption fee!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barry, a Benbrook Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
