HUCK's Story...
HUCK is a happy handsome boy who is a year or less as of 8/20/2015. He is great with other dogs and is as sweet as can be. HUCK is both crate trained and house trained. He rides well in the car and loves the dog park. He does really well with chewing on his toys and leaving other things alone. HUCK is a little shy right at first, but warms up in just a few short minutes. Even when he is being shy, he is nothing but sweet. HUCK hasn't met any cats, but we are happy to introduce him to some if you have a kitty at home. We feel confident he will be fine since this sweet boy doesn't have a mean bone in his body. HUCK is ready to mesmerize his forever family with his sweet, soulful eyes.

HUCK is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
HIs $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to New England.

For an adoption application on HUCK please email wbtanner1982@gmail.com

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HUCK, a Brattleboro German Shepherd Dog/Springer Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Springer Spaniel for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Springer Spaniel dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Springer Spaniel breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Springer Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
