Doria's Story...
Doria is a 1.5 year old LOVE! This girl loves to snuggle, loves people, loves other dogs, loves life! Doria came to us with her 8 (yes 8) puppies. The pups have all been weaned and Doria has been vetted and now it's her turn to be "babied" and pampered! Doria has been in foster care with other dogs and kids and does great with them. She is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add this sweet girl to your family, please visit out website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out the online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doria, a Allentown Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
