Sylvia's Story...
Sylvia and Sid are brother and sister. They get along beautifully together. Sylvia is a bit more curious than Sid. They have enjoyed playing with the other foster kittens in the house as well. You will find them running around chasing each other or snuggled up together in the sun. Sylvia likes to try and catch her shadow and Sid loves to play with the little pom poms. Wouldn't you love a pair of cuteness in your house? Sylvia is Felv/Fiv tested negative, spayed, microchipped, received FVRCP, dewormed, and examined by a vet. Her adoption fee is $75. To talk with her foster mom you may email info@FORrescue.net and to complete an application, please visit www.FORrescue.net. Sylvia is located in Huntsville, AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sylvia, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
