Lovely Lola was terrified in a high kill shelter, we could see it in her eyes. She ended up there as a stray with her puppy, who was adopted, and she was left on her own. She is so happy to be safe now, and is blossoming into a wonderful dog. She is shy when first meeting new people, and is learning to trust again. She bonds quickly and responds so well to love and kindness (and food).
