Fitz's Story...
Fitz arrived in our care on 30 April 2015. He was an owner surrender and is the first Guinea Pig to come to New Moon Rabbit Rescue looking for a better life and a loving forever home. Fitz was born in Oct 2014.

This sweet little man will steal your heart in a second. He was very nervous and under socialized when he first can to us but time in a loving foster home has helped this little man blossom!!

If you are interested in giving this sweet little dude a home, please contact us at info@newmoonrabbitrescue.ca

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fitz, a North Gower Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in North Gower, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in North Gower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Gower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Gower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Gower paves the way for another one to be saved.
