My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

(ID #A27870942) Hi, my name is Red.

I am a one to two year old Hound/Terrier mix.

I am a very energetic and active dog! I would love to live with someone who is athletic and likes to run so I can run with you. At times I think I am Houdini, so I would do best with a home with a fenced in yard to play. I am still young so I definitely need someone committed to training me. What I really want is a person who is patient with me and will love me forever. I love belly rubs and playing with toys. I am fine with other dogs but no so much with kitty cats. I need a cat free home.

At least here at the shelter I have my basic needs met, like food and water plus a roof over my head. However, I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love. I have plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with me.

I am a young lady at heart. I have been checked out by a veterinarian and spayed. I received a set of preventative shots and have been wormed. I have tested negative for heartworms. I have been housebroken but still need to be crated when left alone or overnight.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice. Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you a dollar value up to but not to exceed $100.00.

You can contact my friend, Lori by emailing laking@cinci.rr.com for more information on how I can become part of your family.

See you soon, RED.
