My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sweet CHANCE!

Chance is a young four year old smaller-size shepherd/lab mix. He weighs 48 pounds, neutered, has his full vaccinations and is micro-chipped too. Chance is a quiet and SUPER MELLOW dog and SMART TOO!!! He is LOW MAINTENANCE - big time! He would be perfect for a quiet home or for someone that wants a sweet dog but doesn't want all the high activity that goes with it.

Please watch fun videos with Chance and his doggie friends in action:

More of Chance’s fabulous points:
• Housetrained and doggie door trained
• A very quiet boy
• Doesn't bother strangers when they come over (You don't need to pull him away from the door when the mailman comes or the UPS man drops off a package, nor does he bother visitors.)
• Does not jump up on people
• Well-mannered in the home
• Great with other dogs, he will also need a doggie play-mate in his new home
• Just say – “bed-time” and he goes out thru the doggie door, does his bathroom business, comes back in the house, and then goes right into his crate at night. Sleeps quiet as a mouse.
• He has not been around cats, but would probably be good with cats because of his mellow demeanor
• Enjoys playing with doggie friends and great with sharing his toys
• Gentle and quiet energy
• Rides well in the car
• Enjoys walks, great on a leash
• Up-to-date on shots and is neutered
• Likes to sleep on his own dog bed or in his crate

Chance is currently living with a foster family, they have found him to be very easy to care for and he is very gentle with their two young children. He is quite shy and mellow, so the perfect home for him would be a quiet residence with no children or with older children. The new adopter would need to give Chance a little adjustment time to bloom in his new home and must be willing to give him much tender love and some activities to build his confidence. Chance has been checked out medically by a vet and he is in excellent health and physical shape. He was found as a stray and rescued from a High Country dog pound.

With Chance’s adoption - he comes with his new fluffy dog bed, his premium doggie food and treats, wire crate, complete vet records, durable collar and leash, and LOTS OF LOVE!! He is ready and waiting for his loving home.
