Latte's Story...
Meet Latte!
She was part of the Coffee Crew litter (her sisters are Chai, Espresso, Mocha, Cappucino, Bean). Her mom is Hazelnut. All have been adopted.

Latte's story:

Momma dog Hazelnut had it rough in her short 9 months of life. She was part of a cruelty case through PSPCA and was surrendered to the shelter. During her stay in foster care at the SPCA, it was determined that she was bred after her first heat at 6 months old. She gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies on 8/1/14.

While being fostered through the SPCA, it was noted that Hazelnut was injuring her pups unintentionally to the point where they needed to be separated from her. You see, Hazelnut is still a pup herself and was unsure of how to handle the puppies. She dragged them and left abrasions and wounds on them, so she needed to be separated. Unfortunately 2 male pups did not make it, but the remaining 6 females came into BRPBR along with mom.

Latte was adopted out at 10 weeks old and returned to the rescue when she was 11 months old due to asthma in the home.

Latte is good with other dogs and had been around cats the first time around in foster care. She can be re-cat tested again upon request.

Latte is fully vetted including spay, vaccines, deworm, microchip, and on monthly heartworm preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Latte, a Southampton Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Southampton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Southampton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southampton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southampton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southampton paves the way for another one to be saved.
