Meet Gertie! She is aprrox 7 months old. We are unsure of breed, so we are calling her a heinz 57 mixed breed! She was very scared in the shelter environment and spent some time in their shy dog program. She is doing much better out of the shelter environment and her puppy energy and happiness is starting to show! She is good with other dogs and lives with children.

Gertie's adoption fee is $230. She is spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gertie, a Dublin Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Dublin, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Dublin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dublin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dublin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dublin paves the way for another one to be saved.
