Hello. My name is Nugget. I'm about 1 year old and I weigh about 50 lbs.
I was found by the landlord after our family was evicted. I was tied up outside. I had no water and it had been terribly hot outside... I also had a friend living inside the house in a filthy cage. The land lord made some phone calls and ended up finding someone to keep us safe until the pound opened and was able to get us the following Monday.
I'm a really sweet and affectionate boy. I would definitely benefit from a little bit of training as I do still need some manners, I sometimes get too excited and jump up on people when I probably really shouldn't. I'm a really smart boy though. I already know how to sit on command and I am food motivated so the rest of my training should be a breeze if ya know what you're doing.
I seem to get along well with other dogs too.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JULY 25, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
