Mr. Moustache is a very handsome ~6 year old mini schnauzer with a sad tale to tell...he was found running on a busy highway with his little Chihuahua friend. Unfortunately the Chihuahua was hit by a car and killed, and poor Mr. Moustache stood guarding her body for over an hour not allowing police to get near her. He was understandable nervous and defensive with the animal control officers at first once he was captured, but warms up fast and turns into a sweet spunky schnauzer. He gets along with other dogs and is looking for an adult household that appreciates this smart, loyal breed. Please email njwoof@cs.com if you are interested in giving Mr. Moustache a stable forever home and making sure he never ends up on the loose again.

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
