My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MOLLY is a 4 1/2 year old spayed yellow female Lab who weighs 64 pounds. She is a very sweet and pretty girl. She is a laid back and easy going girl who loves to get attention. She loves to get belly rubs and cuddle/ relax beside her humans. Good with other dogs. Unknown with cats. Knows sit and come, working on other commands. Good on lead. Probably house trained, she is keeping her run clean at the kennel.
Molly was a stray to the shelter, she was found by a rescuer on a busy road. They saw that Molly recently had puppies and rescuer and animal control searched for them for 2 days and never found them. They think she had weaned her pups and her owner sold them and then dumped Molly. She is safe now. Molly is approved for kids ages 10+.

Update (8/28): Molly's foster cannot believe that she is still around - not that she minds as she is the best house guest ever! From her foster: She's really a great girl!! She stays close by. She lays down to eat and is so dainty about it. She absolutely loves loves loves tummy rubs. She also likes to put her two front paws on your lap for a hug. She has free run of my home and I wake up to find her beside my bed every morning. She jumps in circles when I come home as she is so happy to see me. She has had no accidents in the house and has not touched things that are not hers. I just cannot say enough good things about this sweetie! She can stay as long as she wants but I am sure she would love her own forever family!!

Update (8/27): Molly says "what gives"? She is a perfectly well behaved 4 year old yellow female with a gorgeous face and smile that has tons of love to give. What more could you want ?? Molly is perfectly content in her foster home and has free run with no crating and is an angel. She DOES want a furever family to call her own though! Call your AC today!!

Update (8/17): Molly wants to know why no one has come to meet her! Hard to say anything but good things about her. She's super sweet. No counter surfing. She does not mess with anything she is not supposed to and has the cutest habit of "burying" her treats in the couch to save for later. She lays with her head just outside the bedroom door so she can wait for me while I get ready in the morning!! She's great on the leash. She's a bit timid around other dogs but gets along really well with them. In fact, once she gets to know them, she actually tries to initiate a little play. I had her at my mom's house with two poodle mixes and she literally pouted in the car on the way home. I would try to talk to her and she'd turn her head she was so disappointed to leave her new friends. But she settled back in at my house just fine :)

Update (8/7): Molly clearly had a different life before she came to my house. She had never heard a TV, had never seen herself in a mirror, she didn't know how to go up or down a flight of stairs. I honestly don't think she'd been walked on a leash much but she is blossoming daily. Molly appears to have never walked on slick floors in her past - she keeps her back paws on the area rug and leans out the door to watch me in the hallway. When we go out of the bedroom into the hallway, she almost trembles and she bolts down the stairs. But with great encouragement, she gets to the bottom and wags her whole backside. She responds enthusiastically to praise. She stops to ask permission to come inside. She has discovered she gets a treat for going outside. She doesn't counter surf. In fact, there's a kong with peanut butter lying untouched on the living room floor. Molly is missing most of her tail so instead of wagging her tail, when she's really happy, she enthusiastically wags her entire back end. She wants to be by her person!! If she can't see you, she whines to let you know she misses you. Molly is a cuddler - she likes to put her paws on your lap and have you hold her head. She also seems to know and understand "It's ok"!! She's such a lovely girl that will make a wonderful and lovely companion!!

Update (8/04): Good Golly Miss Molly I'm so darn happy as I got sprung from the kennel and on my way to a foster home. I am also feeling better. Note: Molly came im with Heartworms. Lyme and Ehrichia and she was feeling very well. Think the Doxycycline has worked it's magic she is a lot happier and more interested in going outside to play. She is an easy pup who likes to go for car rides.
