Miley's Story...
Miley is about 2 1/2 years old and weighs about 60 Lbs. when Miley came to A 2nd Chance she was very head shy and leery of people as though she had been hit a lot. When Miley was with her previous owner she was left outside day and night by herself without much attention so she barked. The owners didn't like the barking and no longer wanted her so she ended up at the dog pound where we found her. Miley now gets attention and plays a lot with her kennel mates and is very loving. When we are in the kennel with her and sit down to spend time with her, she comes for any attention that she can get. She does not shy away from the hugging and petting that we give her now. She has learned to trust us and is a sweet beautiful girl. She would like to go home with you and show you what a good girl she is. She needs a real home to show her what love really is.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miley, a Hillsboro Blue Heeler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Hillsboro, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Hillsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
