My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Only one word can describe this little one and that is PRECIOUS! Sweet little Apple was found scrounging around a parking lot looking for her next meal when a wonderful good samaritan scooped her up. Now she is safe and sound, living in a foster home in Memphis, Tn where she is receiving lots of love, social interaction and 3 square meals a day! Apple has wonderful spirit! She is one of those puppies you cannot help but be happy when around. She is sweet, playful, curious, gentle submissive and grateful! Apple is learning to house train and she is great in her kennel. She loves meeting new dogs at the dogpark. She is 6 weeks old ( 7.27.15) and will likely stay under the 30 lb mark when fully grown. Apple will be ready for transport to her new forever home (8.20.15)
Her adoption fee of 450.00 includes her vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick topical and heartworm preventative for the first month and her transport to her new forever home.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
