Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yara is a special girl, named for her personality, Yara means strength. Stoic in her appearance, Yara is a bundle of joy, smart and LOVES to chase a ball. She chews only on things she knows she is allowed to chew on, is house and crate trained. She will lick you to death given the chance, loves a trip or two to the dog park weekly and loves the company of other dogs. She has never met a stranger at the dog park and she loves to ride in the car no matter where she is going! Yara would do best in a home with another dog and with a fenced in yard for plenty of ball time. She is currently in a foster home in Memphis Tn with 3 other dogs and a doggy door which she mastered in just a few short days! Once adopted, Yara will travel via transport to her new forever home. her adoption fee of 450.00 includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations, deworming and transport to her new forever home.
All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
