Daphne & Velma's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Daphne & Velma's Story...
Daphne and Velma are Penelope's two female puppies. Daphne is more petite and sweet. Velma is larger and more spunky. Daphne has a pink collar and Velma has an aqua collar in early photos. In more recent photos (of just the two of them), Velma wears a green collar, and Daphne wears purple. Both females are solid black.
Penelope, Daphne and Velma's mom, is likely a Black Lab or Flat Coated Retriever mix. We are fairly certain that Daphne and Velma's dad is the German Shepherd at the house next to where Penelope was found.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne & Velma, a Goldsboro Flat-Coated Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Goldsboro, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Goldsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goldsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goldsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goldsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
