My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WEABER is a delightful little black-and-white tuxedo short-haired cat who is now ready for her forever home.

She was picked up in February, walking the streets on Weaber Way in Boston, “abandoned in the snow”, with a puncture wound on her left front leg. This was a “wound of unknown origin”, requiring a six-month quarantine. As soon as she healed up, she came to live in our special room.

At first she was a little fearful and wanted to hide. Now she has gained confidence, readily hops out of her cubicle, and doesn’t mind being picked up and handled. She can be a little spunky at times, if one tries to tell her what to do, but most of the time she is docile and sweet. She tries to sneak out of the special room, and then play “catch me if you can”. Once you catch her, however, she cuddles and purrs.

Weaber would probably be a lap cat, providing it can be her choice. She should be OK with other cats. She is about 2 ½ years old and she is a real sweetheart. Just look at that cute little face !!
